Life must be understood backwards, but we often forget that it also must be lived forwards.

What a Wednesday

Okay, so nothing truely exciting happened, but it was still a Wednesday.

In the morning there was a fire drills, so we skipped about ten minutes of class, in my case it was business. Then in bio, we did a lesson and then homework.

I finally got some hours for mentoring, which I’m seriously happy about. I need like six more though or else I’ll be on probation for HMST. I’ll have to go again tomorrow and next week… I’ll have to go a lot more…
In tech, we’re done with our bandsaw boxes.

Here’s mine~

Cool eh? Now if you saw the other side, you’d see all the mistakes I made. Thank god it was on only one side and not both!

Last period I had to work with these idiots I know. One doesn’t talk. Like EVER. The other was rambling on how if you had imagination you couldn’t be logical. I wish I had a bow and arrow at that moment to shoot him. Then my last other group member sat there trying to prove that one of the characters, Simon, was pure and innocent and couldn’t do anything wrong, while I actually did all the work. Sigh. I hate my group…

My sister and dad went to the AGO on one of her trips. They said that the King Tut exhibit was totally bogus, because they didn’t ever have Tut there, just artifacts, nothing really interesting. I’m just glad it wasn’t me who payed $15 to see it… I, however, did pay $20 to go to the Body Worlds thing at the Science Center. All these tourist attractions trying to rip you off…

Typical Saturday

Ah, today was a usual, typical Saturday. Piano in the morning, computer, then my sister’s dance class, computer, blah, blah, blah, and computer. You can see I tend to waste away my life in front of the computer.

Hana Yori Dango is getting good. What am I saying? It’s been good since the beginning. I’m almost done the first season (this is the Jap version, in case you haven’t figured that out yet). I’m on the last episode and she’s like in some beauty pageant kind of thing. Cliffhanger, that’s what the end of ep 8 was. Don’t worry, I won’t give away anything. Poor Rui though… (hehehe~~) Sojiro and Akira are like the most mature. When Rui fools with Domyouji, and finally admits it, they’re both like ‘WHAT THE HECK *sigh*’ It’s so funny~~

I watched Step Up for the first time yesterday (yes I’m really slow with movies) (that’s the area I procrastinate the most in). It was good, but that might just be because I like Chatum Tatum’s acting. GI Joe, She’s the Man, all his movies are good, but that might also be because of the other actors. I love Amanda Bynes’ acting too, she always plays the hilarious, silly character, with like two lines of seriousness. Which then makes me think of Oliver James, whom I think looks good and is great at acting too. And then comes Hilary Duff, who used to be my, like, idol, and is now in Gossip Girl as Olivia. Her singing was what I loved about her.

Okay I think I’m done with my analysis of stars for now.

Two More Day ‘Til Freedom!

Yes, there are only two more days until the end of school. Then, hallelujah, it’s winter break!

However, before celbrations begin, I must complete my careers assignment, my history essay, my science assignment, and take one last science test before the break. But Friday’s a half-day, so yay!

Hehehe~~

Destination NV, H1N1, and Success

Yesterday, was Destination NV at my school. Every year, kids who are graduating from grade 8/9 (depending on the school) and are thinking of going to NV for their high school career, would go to NV with their teachers and then get shown around the school by volunteer tour guides, and informed on a bunch of different courses and programs that NV has. So this year, like last year, I volunteered as a tour guide, and was able to get my middle school as the group I would tour. Being a tour guide, or even any part of Destination NV, you get a free pizza lunch and drinks, and in the end of it all, you get voluteer hours. They used to give out cookies to both the visiting students and the tour guides, but this year, it was just to the visiting students…*sad* the school’s cookies are like the god of cookies! They taste absolutely AMAZING~

Hehee.. okay back to the point… I was able to see my favourite teacher (EVER!!!) and one of my grade eight teachers who was a pretty cool guy. I also got to see some of my friends siblings, and my friends Justin, and a few people who weren’t near the friends catagory… for one, there was a guy that’s my friend’s brother. He’s two years younger than me, and yet he was able to make-fun of me and my friends. Sad. I was bullied by a kid who’s two years younger than me and like five inches shorter… > _ <

In the end, Destination NV was really fun. I heard a lot of stories about my middles school from my old teachers, and my friend Justin, and I even got some cookie~~^^ the things you get from knowing people~

After the awesomeness of Destination NV, I had to go to the doctors and get my H1N1 flu shot. It was fine when the shot was done, but then, hours later, it felt like bricks had been thrown at my shoulder, and I couldn’t move my hand right… I also think the shot either made me WAY more emotional than usual, or I was just shedding none stop tears for no reason. Odd… Plus, today when I woke up, the pain was even worse, but I think it was from both a huge impact to my shoulder from someone running yesterday, plus the shot in the shoulder area that resulted in such pain. I mean, it’s hard to move my shoulder, but I can at least move my hands now… improvement~

Lastly~~ I successfully got a 91.7% on a math quiz. When I saw it, my jaw dropped. My standards had quickly fallen after all those sixties. *still shocked!*

Currently: Doing my math homework, and typing out my history thesis, at alternate times of course… hmm… how much easier life would be if you had like six arms to do different tasks…
