Life must be understood backwards, but we often forget that it also must be lived forwards.

New SNSD Song~

Woot~! SNSD (Girl’s Generation) has their new Music Video out: Run Devil Run~
Gosh, all Koreans, I swear they’re all pretty, even the ones who think they aren’t are.

Here’s their new MV:

Awesome, isn’t it?

So today I spent the morning watching my brother in Bayview Village. You see, I love the annoying brat, but do you know how hard it is to watch a three year old kid in a mall were there is not a single toy store, and in the only store there is any chance of playing, your mother forbids the kid to play? It’s hell!
So I spent three hours watching my brother, running back and forth through the mall (it isn’t the biggest mall either), all because of my sister. She had to go to the dentist and get some stuff done, and then she had to go look for a freaking graduation dress. See, usually I wouldn’t mind. But when we got back to our house, I said I had enough of my brother for the day (he was screaming), and my sister just rolled her eyes and said: whatever, you didn’t even do anything. At that moment, I wanted to like stand on her face *seethe*

Anyways, so I kind of started my business report, but got confused, so gave up. I’m halfway through my English ISP book that I’m using for the bookreport (Along for the Ride), and my biology assignment is giving me a headache…

So I went from HAPPY to angry to exasperated.
Sigh. Again.

Currently: trying to do bio, but getting distracted by my book and msn

The… Wiggles?

Yesterday was my cousin R’s birthday, so we had a little party for him at his house. We basically spent the whole time watching Pink Panther and 17 Again, while eating dinner somewhere in between, and dessert sometime after. My grandparents watch over my brother every few days a week, and they know he absolutely loves the Wiggles (he’s 2… or was it 3…). So my cousin, R, is in his twenties, and he was opening his gifts after dessert, and he finds that he was given a Wiggles card~! It was hilarious. My grandparents are amazing. ‘Course it was probably my grandmother who picked it out. Best gag ever ; )
I love spending time with my family, it’s always hilarious~

Today’s another day though. And I’m not quiet as pleased. Sigh.

March Break!

Finally, a partial break… well for the most part. I have a bio lab due the Monday back to school plus I need to study for a bio test on the Tuesday after break. Then I have to finish my business assignment on franchises, and then my English ISP, well book report, for the second week of April. Ah well. At least there isn’t school~!

I finished Gone by Lisa McMann yesterday. Overall, it wasn’t a bad ending to the series.
Basically the book is about this girl, Janie Hannagan, who is able to go into people’s dreams. Her mother’s a drunk, and her dad left. Her best friend Carrie is amazing, but there are some things you just can’t share, no matter how much you want to. She later finds a few other Dream Catchers, as they call them, and learns about the downside to these powers. Not sure what to do with herself, she sets out to make one of the biggest decisions of her life.
Good series, and it’s so simply written, that it just makes it better~

Yesterday, I watched the Proposal and the Time Traveler’s Wife.
The Proposal was so funny~ It was amazing. My parents were being bums and kept saying that the movie was junk, but when they saw it with me, they loved it too~ Ryan Reynolds is such a hilarious actor. *Awestruck*
The Time Traveler’s Wife was really good too, but not really funny. More devastatingly sad, sweet, and emotional. Right up there with P.S. I Love You~ *movie freak* and *book freak* Hehehe~

Also, yesterday, the Paralympics started in Vancouver~ I seriously believe that all those events done by regular athletes are twenty times harder when you’re in the Paralympics. Seriously. Go Canada~!

Two Days Left

Two more days of freedom, and then back to school we go. Oh well, it was fun at least.

Yesterday, I went to Yorkdale, and we spent two hours in the Bay shopping for a suit for my dad. What a waste of two hours. Then after, we got five minutes in Indigo, and then we had to go, because my dad had to go get his hair cut. That was probably the most boring trip to Yorkdale I’ve ever had. Sigh.

So my actual Internet is kind of..used up. So if I don’t post (like yesterday) you’ll know why~

I watched How to Deal yesterday~ It was good. The movie was a mix of Sarah Dessen’s books This Summer and Someone Like You. The screen writer was able to mix the two together well. Granted, it wasn’t like crazy like Harry Potter, nor was it enlightening and amazing like Avatar, and it wasn’t about sparkly vampires like Twilight. But it was pretty good overall.

Yesterday, I also watched the Grammys. I loved the performances so much. Pink’s performance was awesome. She was singing while being pulled up on a piece of white fabric, and in the middle, she was dipped in water, which she sent flying over the audience in a fountain at the end of the song as she spun downwards back onto the ground. Taylor Swift was able to walk off with many wins, including the Album of the Year award, winning it over Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Beyonce’s performance was good too. She was singing If I Were A Boy. I love her dress in the performance~~ Lady Gaga opened the show singing Poker Face, and then another song with Elton John. As always, her performances were creepy and yet great.

Also, last night, they did a tribute to Michael Jackson. They showed a part of his movie, This Is It, and they sang with him, in a way. Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Usher, Smoky Robinson, and Jennifer Hudson all sang with Michael (his voice from the movie). The whole tribute was introduced by Lionel Richie, who had co-written ‘We Are The World’ with Michael years ago. The tribute was touching, and after his children came up to the stand to thank the audience for the Michael’s award.

This year’s Grammy’s was definitely one that would never be forgotten.

Final Fantasy III

Okay, so I have no work, I’m too lazy to practice piano, so I’ve decided to play my Final Fantasy game, which I had received on x-mas. I died eight times on one stage. That was utterly pathetic.

Today is my best friend J’s 16th birthday. Now see, any year that we didn’t have exams, I’d have some amazing gift. But I’ve got nothing… I totally forgot. Damned school. So this morning I was like hey it’s the 30th, one more day left ’til… AW *beep*. Yeah. Well hey, I’ve known her for four years, and have remembered her birthday everytime…. my parents have known my aunt (their sister-in-law) for like 20 years, and they remembered her birthday… today… two days late…so I’m not TOO bad…

Any present suggestions for a happy-go-lucky, upbeat, 16 year old girl? No? Didn’t think so….
I’m thinking charm bracelet…. *sigh* I hate giving presents.

My family and I are watching G.I Joe together~ I can’t wait, I’ve been wanting to see that movie for so long… so now we finally will! *happy*

It is Friday! Yeah! Okay, so there is really no significance to this Friday, since I didn’t need to be in school, but I’m still happy. Exams are done, and my favourite subject, English, is starting once again~

Four more workless days, and then it’s back to school. That should be fun~

I should really get my volunteer hours done… but I’m just too lazy. <-epic dedication right there!

Some random things by my friends on Facebook:
Cops never think it’s as funny as you do. They sent me a picture of me speeding, so I sent a picture of a check… so they sent me a picture of handcuffs.
“It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and say the opposite.”

Twelve more days ’til exams

Twelve. More. Days. This is what I was reminded of first thing in the morning. The principle of the school is relatively new, just started in September at NV. So every morning, he decides to go onto the P.A. system and tell us how many minutes there are left until the bell rings. Obviously, this guy needs a new hobby. So today he says: “There are ten more minutes until first bell. Let’s finish up those conversations and get to class. Remember, there are twelve more days until exams. You can get a lot accomplished in these twelve days, so let’s get moving.” Is there something about the class averages that you don’t like or something? Are we not getting enough accomplished for you liking?

I can’t wait until next semester. Other than grade 11 bio, all my other classes should be fun, or a breeze to get though. Granted, there will be projects, homework, etc, but there well be a happier me~~
